No Scam Left Behind

NSLB Picks

Heads up: this page has paid links. If you buy through a link marked "paid link," No Scam Left Behind may earn a commission. It doesn't change what we recommend, and we always include a free option. Rankings and quiz scoring ignore commissions. How we make money TODO: confirm "at no extra cost to you" per program before adding it.

How we pick

We look for security first, privacy by default, open source where it matters, and real-world usability. "Tool we use" means the tool is part of our own setup. It isn't a structured test. Every category shows a free option, which earns full quiz credit up to NSLB Champion and is never ranked below a paid one. Your quiz score never depends on which brand you use or whether you used our links.

Each category lists Easy, Balanced and Advanced choices. Easy is built-in or set-and-forget. Balanced takes a few extra steps for real protection. Advanced favors open-source, privacy-by-default tools, even if they take more effort. These levels never change quiz credit.
